This year, we have added a new category – Institutional. This category is open to any interior design projects funded by a public body and/or that are dedicated to public care. Projects suitable for inclusion are institutional buildings such as schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, medical centres, aged care facilities, nursing homes and prisons.
The Object - Furniture & Lighting (Rising) category serves as a showcase of the brightest rising stars of Australian furniture and lighting design. This will be judged by the editors of inside
magazine. The cost to enter is $200.
This is open to people who have completed study less than three years ago
To learn all about the categories we have this year, please see the category descriptions here
All participating practices will be considered for the Designer of the Year and Overall Winner awards. Only practices that address the criteria
for the Sustainability and Emerging Designer awards are eligible for these categories. Entry into the Special Categories does not attract an additional entry fee.
